The drainage and backfilling of an existing water-filled excavation to create an Integrated Constructed Wetland (ICW) to treat existing surface water runoff. Access to the ICW will be from within the Ballinascorney Quarry site. The development will also include: the temporary (during the construction phase) rerouting of the existing surface water drainage system; the installation of surface water drainage infrastructure and pumping system; landscaping; and all associated site works above and below ground on this 1.1ha site comprising part of the Ballinascorney Quarry, Ballinascorney, Brittas, Co. Dublin. The development is located within the townland of Aghfarrell.
