What is being proposed
PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Royal Dublin Society intends to apply for permission for development at a site within the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) Grounds, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, D04 AK83. Protected Structure: The development will consist of the construction of a single-storey Media Centre (c. 114sq.m and c. 3.2m maximum height) providing ancillary accommodation to facilitate media and broadcasting operations associated with the operation of the Laya Arena and wider RDS campus, together with all associated site development and ancillary works. A temporary permission for a period of five years is sought for the construction and use of the Media Centre, unless a further permission is granted prior to the expiry of that period.
