The proposed development relates to upgrades to the existing wastewater treatment system and associated site and infrastructural works, including: • Upgrade of the existing wastewater treatment plant to increase capacity to 420 population equivalent; • Provision of a wastewater treatment plant installation area of approximately 32.5m x 6m, incorporating 4 sq.m control kiosk; • Provision of a raised soil polishing filter/percolation area of approximately 3,150 sq.m; • Installation of a 63mm rising main and associated foul drainage infrastructure; • Retrofitting of existing wastewater treatment infrastructure to emergency holding tanks; • Permanent sealing and decommissioning of the existing discharge pipework to the Broadmeadow River; • Re-diversion of existing balancing tanks and forward feed pumps to the proposed wastewater treatment plant; and • All associated pipework, chambers, pumps, valves, ducts, mechanical and electrical plant, controls, instrumentation, landscaping, lighting and ancillary site development works.
