The site is bound by Sheriff St Upper to the south, the under construction adjacent residential and mixed-use scheme 'The Carriageworks' and East Rd to the west. The proposed development consists of revisions to the permitted and under construction hotel, as permitted under DCC Reg. Ref: 2143/20, as extended under 2143/20/X1, and as amended under WEB5593/25. The development proposed comprises the following amendments: 1. Minor extension of the permitted ground floor, on the western elevation, of c.18.4 sqm. The proposed changes result in an overall increase of floorspace from c.11,295.1 sq.m to c.11,313.5 sq.m. Minor subsequent amendments to permitted landscaping. 2. Replacement of permitted windows on the eastern elevation, located into the northern stair core, at Levels 1-8, with a brick recess. Reduction in height of some permitted windows at first floor level on the eastern elevation
