Permission for development at a site of 0.58 Ha in Oldtown, north-west of Swords, County Dublin. The site is principally bound as follows: to the north-east by public open space; to the south-east by Ashton Green and Ashton Grove; to the south-west by Miller's Avenue and Longview Mews; and to the north-west by public open space (at Miller's Glen Lake). The proposed development will principally consist of the construction of a residential development comprising 18 no. 2-storey houses (9 no. 2-bed units and 9 no. 3-bed units), all with associated private open space. Access to the proposed development will be provided from the existing Miller's Avenue and the existing Longview Mews (forming a priority T-junction with Miller's Avenue). The proposed development will also include: continuation of Miller's Avenue along the site's north-west side; pedestrian and cyclist connections to the adjacent housing development and the adjoining public open space to the north-east; internal roads, footpaths and cycle lanes; 29 no. car parking spaces; cycle stores; bin stores; 2 no. bin staging areas; hard and soft landscaping, including public open space and incidental open space; boundary treatments; public lighting; and all other associated site and development works above and below ground.
